Who we are

Norwegian Omega 3 AS (details above) is the controller for personal data processed through this website.

What we collect

When you email, call or message us on WhatsApp, or use the contact form, we receive the details you choose to share: usually your name, email address or phone number and your message.

We use them only to answer you and, if you order from us or become a distributor, to handle that relationship.

Legal basis

We answer enquiries based on our legitimate interest in doing so and, where you ask about buying or distributing, to take steps towards a contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b) and (f)). Accounting records are kept as Norwegian law requires.

Analytics

We measure visits with Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that uses no cookies and stores no personal data. We see only totals, such as page views, countries and which buttons are used.

Cookies and local storage

This website sets no cookies. Your browser keeps two small technical flags: whether you closed the announcement bar, and one for the fade when you change language. They hold no personal data and never leave your device.

Who else sees data

Our web host keeps short-lived server logs (such as IP address and time of request) for security and operation. If you contact us by email or WhatsApp, those services process the message under their own privacy terms. We never sell your data or share it for marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to follow them up, normally no longer than 12 months, unless they lead to a customer or distributor relationship or the law requires us to keep them longer.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, object to or restrict its processing, and ask for a copy of it. Write to us at the email address above.

You can also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.no).

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the current version.
